    Why it matters

Catch language and layout issues before release

Even a well-translated product can have problems once the text is in the interface: truncated buttons, wrong terms in context, broken placeholders or unnatural phrasing. Users notice these immediately, and they hurt trust and ratings.

Testing with native speakers in the real product finds the issues that translation review alone cannot, and gives your team objective, structured feedback to fix them quickly.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

    What is linguistic testing?

Linguistic testing, also called linguistic quality assurance (LQA), is a review of translated content in context by native-speaking linguists. They look for mistranslations, grammar and terminology errors, inconsistencies and cultural issues.

    What is localization testing?

Localization testing checks that a localized product works correctly in a target locale. It covers text that is cut off or overlaps, formats for dates, numbers and currency, character display, and functional issues that appear after localization.

    What is MQM?

The Multidimensional Quality Metrics (MQM) framework is a structured way to classify and score translation errors by type and severity. It gives you objective quality data you can track over time and across vendors.

    How do you report issues?

We log each issue with a screenshot, location, category, severity and a suggested fix, in your bug tracker or a spreadsheet, whichever you prefer.

    How is testing priced?

Testing projects depend on scope, so a specialist reviews your details and sends a fixed-price quotation, usually within 24 hours.
